  • Very good cafe. Recently been refurbished. It's got smaller tables now which can be put together to accommodate larger parties if required. In addition it's hot a great brand new ice cream and milkshake machine it's amazing. Food freshly cooked. No frozen food. Great macaroni cheese and tea cakes were lovely as well. All the meals are really good and the owner is fantastic and puts his heart and soul into making a success of the place.

  • Found this place on a rest stop from a drive North and was not disappointed. Situated direct opposite an M&S food hall, but if you bring your money here it will go a lot further. Had the all day breakfast (best three words to see when you're hungry), of which there were several options available. Food was cooked fresh and there was plenty of it. Would come here more often if I was not just passing through.

  • Had a lot of breakfasts at a lot of places. This place is up there with the best of them. Accommodating, friendly and cheerful owner. Good value for money. That breakfast sorted me out for the day. If i lived nearer to it, i'd go there all the time.
